SBLM has provided architectural services for numerous Home Depot stores throughout the Tri-State area. The location presented design challenges including the store's proximity to the Eastbound entrance of the Holland Tunnel, high-volume deliveries from large carriers, and customer vehicle access for loading purchases. The modern produces a dramatic visual icon using Home Depot's trademark shade of orange on curved sculptural accents that make up the building's main facade. This store was awarded First Place for Stores over 100,000 sq ft in Chain Store Age's Retail Store of the Year Exterior Design Competition.
